LSA | SEND Experience Essential | Headington, Oxford Learning Support Assistant - Full Time

We are recruiting for a reliable and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within a school setting in Headington, Oxford. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity and would suit a candidate with hands-on experience supporting children with SEND who is looking for a long-term position.

About the role

As an LSA, you will provide day-to-day support to pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning and participate positively in school life. You will work alongside teaching staff to provide consistent and appropriate support both in the classroom and, where required, on a one-to-one basis.

Essential criteria

• Previous SEND experience is essential
• GCSEs required
• Experience working with children or young people
• Reliable and committed approach
• Good communication skills
• Patient and supportive nature
• Able to work effectively as part of a school team
• Available for full-time work

Position details

• Location: Headington, Oxford
• Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Contract: Temp to Perm
• Start date: ASAP or after notice period
• Transport: Car access is preferable
