Are you a calm, caring and patient Teaching Assistant who knows how to build positive relationships with children with additional needs? We're working with a lovely school in the B90 area that is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with SEN needs.

About the School

This school takes a gentle, nurturing approach to education, with small class sizes of around 10 pupils. They pride themselves on creating a calm, supportive environment where children are understood, encouraged and given the opportunity to thrive.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

• Is naturally calm, gentle and patient in their approach.
• Can build trusting relationships with children and engage with them positively.
• Has experience supporting children with SEN or is passionate about working in this area.
• Can establish clear boundaries and stand their ground when needed, without raising their voice or losing their composure.
• Is emotionally resilient, able to remain professional when faced with challenging behaviour, and doesn't take things too personally.
• Understands the importance of consistency, reassurance and a nurturing approach.
