Business and Commercial Data Analyst

About the company

At Asorum, we are looking for a Business and Commercial Data Analyst for a company in the chemical industry located in the southern area of Rosario.

Your tasks

We are looking for a person with experience in data analysis applied to business, capable of integrating information from different sources, developing indicators, and converting results into concrete improvement proposals.

The position will aim to analyze primarily commercial and economic information —sales, costs, margins, and profitability—, develop diagnostics, and present conclusions and improvement proposals to management. It is expected that they can work autonomously in analysis and deliver validated, synthesized information ready to facilitate decision-making.

Main responsibilities

• Collect, integrate, and analyze information from different areas and systems, verifying its quality and consistency.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and indicators on sales, costs, margins, profitability, and other business variables.
• Interpret results, detect deviations, and present clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Survey processes and identify opportunities to improve tools, controls, and ways of working.
• Research markets, customers, and competitors according to the area's needs.
• Follow up on projects, tasks, and commitments, coordinating information with the involved sectors.
• Incorporate data analysis tools, artificial intelligence, and automation to optimize tasks.

Requirements

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Economic Sciences, Statistics, or related fields.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of data analysis.
• Ability to relate information and interpret commercial and economic indicators.
• Knowledge of English.
• Availability to travel within the country, mainly to Buenos Aires.
• Residence in Rosario or surroundings and availability to work in the southern area of the city.

Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or Python; management of management systems and artificial intelligence tools; and complementary training in business analytics or process improvement will be valued.

We are looking for a person with analytical capacity, judgment to select relevant information, and attention to the quality of their work. Communication skills will be fundamental to request information from different areas, express ideas, and present conclusions, along with organization, the ability to prioritize, initiative, and the willingness to learn and work in a team.
