Logistik Operator Manager (m/w/d)

Introduction

We are a growing international freight forwarding company specializing in European road transport, international logistics, and supply chain solutions. Our focus includes FTL/LTL trucking, project cargo, reefer transport, and cross-border logistics between Europe and global markets.

To strengthen our operations team, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operation Manager who can combine operational excellence with business development and carrier procurement. Standort: Duisburg / Möglichkeit zum Remote-Arbeiten (nach Absprache) Vergütung: Fixgehalt + leistungsbezogene Provision (nach Vereinbarung)

Tasks

Daily coordination of international road, sea, and multimodal shipments Communication with carriers, warehouses, customs brokers, and overseas partners Supplier and carrier sourcing across Europe Freight rate negotiation and transport procurement Development of new logistics partners and trucking networks Support in customer acquisition and business development Preparation of quotations and transport solutions Monitoring shipment progress and handling operational issues Coordination of reefer, OOG, FR, and project cargo shipments when required Ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and operational performance

Profile

Experience in international freight forwarding or logistics operations Good knowledge of European road transport and supply chain processes Experience in carrier procurement or supplier development is preferred Commercial mindset with problem-solving ability Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and coordination skills Good knowledge of MS Office and logistics systems English required; German or other European languages are an advantage
