Senior HR Executive, Talent & HRBP
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an HR professional who wants to grow beyond HR operations and recruitment into a broader Talent and HR Business Partnering role.
You will work closely with our Technology and Analytics teams to understand their people and skills needs, translate those needs into practical talent solutions, and support the employee lifecycle — from hiring and development to workforce planning and performance.
Alongside your assigned business units, you will gain exposure to the wider spectrum of HR and contribute to strengthening how HR operates across AsiaOne.
What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition & Talent Sourcing
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, from understanding hiring requirements and sourcing talent to assessment, offer and onboarding.
- Partner hiring managers to understand the purpose of each role, technical and functional requirements, experience expectations and what success looks like.
- Build relevant talent pipelines through direct sourcing, professional networks, referrals and other recruitment channels.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments, coordinate structured interviews and maintain a positive and timely candidate experience.
- Provide hiring managers with practical insights on talent availability, candidate expectations and recruitment challenges.
- Track recruitment activity, identify bottlenecks and recommend ways to improve hiring effectiveness.
HR Business Partnering
- Serve as the HR partner for assigned business units while supporting other teams when required.
- Build a strong understanding of business objectives, team structures, workflows, skills requirements and workforce challenges.
- Partner managers on headcount planning, hiring, role clarity, performance, employee development and emerging people needs.
- Support workforce planning, goal setting, performance discussions and employee development initiatives.
- Use workforce information and employee feedback to identify potential people risks and opportunities, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
- Provide practical and consistent HR guidance aligned with company policies and Singapore employment requirements.
Skills Development & Talent Management
- Partner teams to identify current and future capability and skills requirements.
- Conduct skills-gap and training-needs analyses, with a particular focus on technology and technical capabilities.
- Translate identified gaps into practical development plans and training roadmaps.
- Recommend appropriate development approaches including formal training, on-the-job learning, mentoring, project exposure and knowledge sharing.
- Track learning participation and application in the workplace, and refine development approaches based on business needs and outcomes.
HR Projects & Process Improvement
- Develop your understanding of the full spectrum of HR functions and provide operational support where required.
- Identify opportunities to make HR processes more effective, structured and scalable.
- Develop practical HR templates, dashboards, playbooks and repeatable workflows.
- Explore productivity, automation and AI-enabled tools that can improve HR effectiveness.
- Contribute to HR projects and share effective practices across the team.
What You’ll Bring — Skills & Attributes
- HR Foundation — Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience across talent acquisition, HR generalist work or developing HR business partnering responsibilities.
- Recruitment Capability — At least 2 years of hands-on end-to-end recruitment experience, including proactive candidate sourcing.
- Business Curiosity — Genuine interest and ability to understand business functions, technology roles and specialist skills requirements.
- Stakeholder Partnership — Experience working with hiring managers and translating business or hiring requirements into practical people actions.
- HR Knowledge — Working knowledge of Singapore employment practices and manpower requirements.
- Communication & Judgement — Strong communication, organisation, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.
- Learning Agility — Resourceful, comfortable navigating ambiguity and willing to learn new areas quickly.
- Digital & Productivity Mindset — Comfortable experimenting with productivity tools and finding better ways of working.
- Ownership & Collaboration — Able to work independently, take ownership of deliverables and collaborate effectively across teams.
Good to Have
- Experience recruiting for technology, product, data, engineering, digital media or other specialist roles.
- Exposure to skills mapping, competency frameworks, training-needs analysis, workforce planning or talent reviews.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, HR dashboards, automation or AI-enabled tools.
- IHRP certification, or progress towards a relevant professional HR qualification.

- Stakeholder Management — Strengthen your ability to partner managers, understand different business perspectives and provide practical HR recommendations.
