Accounting Transformation Intern

We are seeking an Accounting Intern to support our accounting teams in organizing client requests, documents and data. The intern will work closely with senior accountants, subject matter experts and project managers on day-to-day support tasks and transformation initiatives. This is a junior role suitable for candidates who are willing to learn, follow instructions carefully and take pride in producing accurate work. Candidates who can learn quickly, communicate clearly and contribute positively to organization-wide transformation initiatives will be highly desirable. This is a 6-month full-time contract role. Key Responsibilities · Assist with organizing accounting documents, client files and supporting schedules. · Support basic data entry, checking and reconciliation tasks · Help prepare simple reports and summaries for internal review. · Follow up on missing information or documents with internal teams in a timely and professional manner. · Maintain accurate records and ensure documents are saved in the correct folders and formats. · Provide general administrative support for accounting, and transformation-related activities. Preferred Qualifications · Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field · Some exposure to accounting or tax subjects is preferred, but prior working experience is not required · Comfortable using Windows 11, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and common Windows-based applications · Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin to collaborate with China-based teammates Key Attributes · Fast learner with a positive attitude · Careful and attentive to details · Responsible, organized and able to follow instructions · Willing to ask questions and learn from feedback · Able to manage assigned tasks and meet reasonable deadlines · Professional, respectful and comfortable working in a team environment
