- Operate and set up CNC milling machines according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Set up tools, fixtures, workpieces, and machine parameters.
- Perform CNC milling operations to produce precision metal components.
- Carry out basic programming, editing, and adjustments of CNC programs when required.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ensure products meet the required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
- Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and production schedules.
- Work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet production targets.
Requirements
- Relevant experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Machinist.
- Experience operating CNC milling machines.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Familiar with cutting tools, machining processes, and measuring instruments.
- Able to perform machine setup and tool changes.
- CNC programming experience is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work overtime, shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.
