Shift Technician

Duties and responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and control plant equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient production.

Apply chemical plant operation knowledge to follow documented procedures (e.g. Standard operating procedure-SOP, EHS regulations, risk assessment).

Carry out minor troubleshooting and have good knowledge to safely prepare equipment for maintenance

Capable to recognize unsafe plant condition and promptly report any near miss / deviations / incidents to his supervisor.

To demonstrate strong ownership, team spirit, challenge and sincerity.

Requirements:

Diploma or Nitec in Chemical engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years work experience in a chemical processing environment. Experience in polymerization and/or extrusion is advantageous.

Possess basic Knowledge of chemical processing with working knowledge of ISO14001, ISO9001/IATF16949, ISO 45001, SS651.

Able to work shift in a fast-paced environment.
