Business Analyst (Data & Process)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, test new business processes and suggest improvements based on findings.
  • Develop and maintain process workflows, business process maps, and project artefacts.
  • Assist in managing projects, ensuring they align with business goals and are completed on time.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement digital solutions and support change management activities.
  • Write clear and detailed business requirements and documentation, create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help stakeholders understand business performance.
  • Support the underlying data ecosystem that enables these dashboards, including databases, data integrations, automations, and coding, to ensure reliable reporting and business insights for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct system validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and monitor system performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • > 3 years of experience in business analysis, solution design, and requirements management, process optimization, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in business process modelling tools(e.g., Microsoft Visio, PowerBI, Tableau) and technical proficiency (SQL, Phyton)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in commercial operations, business analysis, reporting, data analytics, or operational process support, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to business systems and processes.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, both traditional and Agile/Scrum.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and documentation.
  • Exposure to CRM, or regulatory systems in shipping, financial or government sectors.
