Job description

We are looking for a Lawyer to join Citadele’s legal team and support day‑to‑day legal operations.

This role is ideal for a proactive and business‑minded legal professional who enjoys learning and developing legal skills in a dynamic environment, collaborating with different teams, and taking ownership of legal processes.

GET READY TO:

• Provide legal advice and support to internal teams on corporate, commercial, insurance, employment, marketing, GDPR, DORA and general compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear analyses on various legal and regulatory topics.
• Prepare, update, and maintain internal corporate and employment documentation (policies, guidelines, procedures, templates).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that business processes and procedures comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Work with bank's products, assist with their development, handle client complaints.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Higher education in the field of law
• Proven professional legal experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or insurance.
• Knowledge of data protection principles, insurance legal requirements and DORA regulations would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Lithuanian.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in leasing would be considered an advantage.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle challenges – while we would value an experienced specialist, we also welcome proactive, motivated lawyer who is eager to learn and grow with us.
