We’re looking for an experienced Financial Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting advisers, paraplanners and clients. You will need a strong background in administration and financial services, with exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a drive to succeed.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Services Administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy and is looking to build a long-term career within a growing wealth management business.

You’ll work closely with advisers and paraplanners, helping to ensure recommendations are implemented efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and processing new business applications
  • Managing Letters of Authority and provider requests
  • Obtaining pension, investment and protection information
  • Managing provider correspondence and following up on outstanding requests
  • Preparing meeting packs and presentations
  • Supporting advisers and paraplanners with case preparation
  • Assisting with suitability report preparation and business processing
  • Maintaining accurate client records and back-office systems
  • Liaising with clients, providers and professional connections
  • Monitoring and progressing business through to completion
  • Producing accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Using initiative to deal with matters in a timely and effective manner

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and ISAs
  • Previous experience processing new business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Appropriate training will be provided where required.

Desirable

  • Experience using Intelligent Office
  • Previous Technical Administrator experience
  • CII qualifications or currently studying towards relevant qualifications
  • Experience supporting paraplanners or advisers
