Who are we? We are an engineering group, a major player in the fields of building, water, energy, industry, and mobility. 100% owned by our employees, we are united by a single passion: practicing a profession that combines the art of designing with ingenuity and the art of realizing with commitment. Our 11,000 employees, in more than 40 countries, create solutions for a positive life every day through our strategic challenges for the planet and humanity. Our teams are human-sized, prioritizing proximity, daily exchanges, and the sharing of experience. To facilitate reading, inclusive writing is not used in the body of this announcement; the masculine terms used refer to women, men, as well as non-binary people.

Main mission – Coordination, development, and dissemination of AI solutions for photovoltaic and storage projects Within the Photovoltaic and Storage (PSE) team, you will be trained in the challenges associated with EnR power plants, particularly photovoltaic design, drafting specifications, site supervision... This team has been working on Photovoltaic and Storage projects for more than 2 decades and wishes to continue its perpetual work of improving its methods in view of the advent of AI in our professions. ARTELIA has set up a working group around AI at the group level. In parallel, our team has already conducted an internship on the subject for the adaptation of our practices and the improvement of our technical methods and tools. Following the work already completed and with the support of your tutor, you will be responsible for: Animation and collaboration around the team's AI projects: ensuring a relay role between different interns and business teams on AI topics, monitoring the progress of ongoing developments, gathering needs and feedback, proposing improvements, and contributing to the consistency of the developed tools. Development of functional business tools: Depending on the needs identified by the team, design and experimentation of AI-based solutions, development of prototypes responding to concrete operational issues, and continuous improvement of tools based on user feedback. Transmission and training: drafting clear documentation, conducting training/communication sessions for the team, and supporting the takeover of the developed tools. Capitalization, dissemination, and governance of AI agents: surveying, testing, improving, and enriching the existing library of agents, promoting their use within the team, centralizing feedback, and supporting users to encourage their appropriation and deployment on projects.

Secondary mission: Study support: discovery of the daily life of a design engineer You will be mobilized by project managers to participate in the realization of missions for our clients, such as feasibility studies, Due Diligences, yield studies, design of photovoltaic and storage plants...

Your team Independent of any industrialist or investor, ARTELIA offers a full range of consulting and engineering services in the energy field. You will join the Energy Storage/Photovoltaic pole of the Renewable Energies (EnR) department. The EnR department has been working in the field of photovoltaics, wind, and storage since the early 2000s and consists of about fifty people from diverse backgrounds, creating great diversity (M/F, nationality, age...), an enthusiastic mix of dynamism and experience. This department is organized into poles (Photovoltaic, Storage & Flexibility, Wind, and Multi-Energy) in order to develop expertise within them and put it at the service of projects while ensuring the transversality necessary for hybrid projects. The missions carried out cover: A wide spectrum of services: (strategy, feasibility studies, simplified and detailed preliminary designs, tender documents, execution study reviews, and construction supervision, consulting, audit) while acting as Project Manager (MOE) or Project Management Assistant (AMO).

A great diversity of projects: ground-mounted, floating, rooftop, solar carport plants, grid-connected or not, with or without storage,

A great variety of clients: international funders, energy developers, local authorities...

A diversity of locations: France, DOM-TOM, Argentina, El Salvador, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Benin, Togo, Niger, Vietnam, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique...

Our team intervenes, for example, in the reconfiguration of the electrical distribution of an industrial site in France following a photovoltaic self-production project, or on hybrid plants in Kenya, or even on the grid connection of a large ground-mounted plant project in Central America.

Your assets You are preparing specialized training in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Behavioral aptitudes: Autonomy, taking initiative, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, curiosity about the energy profession, and the ability to convey technical knowledge to non-experts, curiosity about the use and development of AI. Business skills: Basic knowledge in programming and AI use. A basic understanding of photovoltaic plants and electricity storage by batteries will be valued. IT skills: You master office applications (Office pack). Knowledge of Python and VBA will be a plus. Linguistic skills: Professional proficiency in English is indispensable; mastery of other languages will be a plus.

We offer you: A springboard for your future career at Artelia A tutor close to you within a human-sized team Business experts to accompany you on various projects of different sizes A dedicated HR team to guide you during your internship
