The BU MI specializes in major infrastructure projects, whether in Transport, airport, or civil engineering. It intervenes, both in project management as well as technical assistance or execution studies and expertise, in all infrastructure disciplines. The BU has more than 600 employees distributed across 8 branches. Within the "Structure, Tunnel & Génie Civil" branch, the "Génie Civil des Grands Projets" department gathers and develops highly specialized technical expertise in the field of civil engineering for major projects. This department notably assists the group in its development in the nuclear field, either by accompanying it on major client accounts for the civil engineering component or by developing a direct market with key players such as ANDRA. This development is driven by the "Génie Civil Nucléaire & Industriel" department which, in addition to the technical and financial management of most operations related to nuclear (notably with ANDRA), is responsible for the direct management or supervision of the project management of all nuclear projects in the BU, the preliminary and continuous training of all actors in these projects, and the training and progressive skill development of STG personnel. Under the responsibility of the GCGP department director, you will lead a team of engineers of whom you are the line manager (performance evaluation, supporting employee evolution). As this department holds the ISO 19443 certification of the BU M&I, you will be responsible, alongside the branch management, for maintaining the quality requirement level and the continuous improvement of the entity and its workforce. As such, your missions are as follows: Control, coordination of production, quality monitoring Participate in the production of technical studies requiring nuclear expertise, Define assignments on projects, including own share, in coordination with DPs for major projects, Ensure the proper definition of deliverables to be produced and the production schedule of deliverables, Ensure the internal control of deliverables produced by the team, Set up project monitoring dashboards and report regularly to the department director by identifying risks incurred, Organize REX on projects, to share and disseminate best practices within the team, Ensure the application of procedures, methods, and management and production tools in compliance with the quality processes put in place to meet ISO 19443 Technical Development, Innovation and CIR Implement a technical development strategy within the department, Participate in the CIR process of the department and the branch, Promote and participate in teaching activities and the publication of articles, Implement a production reliability strategy, Develop tools necessary for the digitalization of production / simplification of design, Develop calculation and modeling methods and tools deployable at the department scale, Develop tools necessary for performance improvement and drafting, Implement a software strategy and follow the steps necessary for the acquisition of IT/software resources, Implement a monitoring and support system for the department's young engineers to allow them to increase their skills. Commercial Development Manage client relationships and satisfaction: organize project reviews with important clients, in the presence of the department director, organize internal client REX and REX with clients, Participate in the preparation of offers and auditions, Identify commercial development opportunities and systematically transmit them to the department director, Maintain commercial relationships already established or established during projects, Participate in the strategy and commercial approach of the department and/or branch. Ensure techno-commercial representation on M&I and Group projects/prospects in support of the Key Account EDF. Human resources and organization Define, plan, and organize the human and material resources necessary for the development and realization of projects, through a workload plan Define, plan, and organize the human and material resources necessary for the development of the department, through regular meetings (2 per year) with the department director, Define, plan, and organize the integration of interns into the teams with an objective of technical development Search for and contract with potential subcontractors or freelancers, Ensure compliance with SMART and SMART Nucléaire rules, Safety, Ethics, ... Contract & invoicing follow-up Prepare the BPO campaign with the teams, with a view to a presentation to the department director and highlighting key points before the branch director, Follow contractual management, identify amendments to be presented to clients, Alert management of any deviation from the contract and propose action plans adapted to each situation. #LI-MP1
Your assets Coming from an engineering background or equivalent, possibly with a research component, you have acquired a minimum of 10 years of experience in nuclear, and notably with clients such as ANDRA or EDF. You are competent in the field of project management, civil engineering, or industrial works. You are recognized for your open-mindedness and human contact. You are passionate about large-scale projects, technology, and the multidisciplinary approach. A unifier, you know how to demonstrate pedagogy towards the existing teams. You pay particular attention to the quality of the work provided and have the ability to propose a systematic approach and consistency in the preparation and production of files. Professional English is required in the exercise of your missions.
