The ITD BU (Infrastructures des Territoires Durables) carries 3 of ARTELIA's 5 activities, namely mobility, water, and energy. Its development across all territories in France (rural and urban) as well as internationally is ensured by 5 divisions, each contributing to the deployment of varied fields of intervention and expertise: Transports (Urban & Peri-urban), Ports, Airports, Roads & Highways, Structures, Bridges, Tunnels, Dams, Geotechnics, Maritime, Fluvial, Urban Hydraulics, Land Development, Urban Services, Waste Treatment and Recovery, Renewable and Decarbonized Energies, Environment, Resources and Natural Environment, Project Management and Operations Management. In particular, the SOA division (Structure & Ouvrage d’Art) contributes through the provision of many professions: civil engineering and art structures, underground works and geotechnics, tunnels, tunnel ventilation/smoke extraction, fire resistance of structures, asset management and instrumentation, emblematic works and complex structures, linear road and highway infrastructures, nuclear infrastructures, and BIM & Digital Twins. The division is part of a process of technical excellence and expertise in the field of structures, art structures, tunnels, and roads. Notably, it deploys a high level of innovation and applied research. Its structure gives it the capacity to address large infrastructure projects and local missions, as well as to position itself in high value-added niche professions. The Ponts & Structures Complexes (PSC) branch brings together the group's expertise in art structures and complex civil engineering, in France and internationally. It intervenes in missions of project management, technical assistance, execution studies, expertise, inspection, and monitoring of structures, particularly on projects with high technical stakes. Within this branch, the Grands Projets & Structures Complexes (GPS) department contributes to the major projects of the BU and the group requiring high-level expertise in the design, calculation, and execution of complex works. It intervenes on projects with high technical requirements in various fields (transport, railway, airport, complex buildings, nuclear, maintenance and repair), in France and internationally, in design and execution studies. The department relies on teams of versatile and expert engineers, capable of managing complex projects and proposing innovative technical solutions. Reporting to the Head of the Ponts & Structures Complexes branch, you will take responsibility for the Grands Projets & Structures Complexes department. In this capacity, you will lead the development of the department by combining team management, business development, operational management, and technical expertise. Your main missions are as follows: Strategic Management and Development Define and deploy the department's strategy in connection with the branch and division management
Manage operational and economic performance and identify development opportunities
Contribute to the digital and technical developments necessary for international positioning
Business Development and Client Relations Develop the client portfolio and detect new opportunities in civil engineering and art structures
Manage and contribute to technical and financial offers, hearings, and negotiations
Ensure a role as a technical-commercial referent and guarantee client satisfaction
Management and Organization Supervise, animate, and support teams (pole managers, project managers, engineers)
Manage the department's human resources (recruitment, organization, workload planning, skill development)
Structure the organization and support the growth of the activity
Operational Management and Expertise Manage projects while guaranteeing technical quality, respect for deadlines, and budgets
Ensure contractual and financial monitoring and reporting of operations
Occasionally contribute to high value-added technical studies
Participate in technical development, innovation, and R&D processes (CIR)
An engineer by training, potentially with a research component, you have a minimum of 10 years of known and recognized experience with engineering firms and constructors in the design of Large Works and the realization of major projects. You are competent in several materials and types of structures: reinforced and prestressed concrete, metal construction, civil engineering works, art or industrial works, complex structures… Behavioral skills: You demonstrate leadership and team spirit and are recognized for your open-mindedness and human contact. A unifier, you know how to be pedagogical with existing teams and know how to motivate your collaborators in a demanding environment. Organized and rigorous, you pay particular attention to the quality of the work provided and have the capacity to propose a systematic approach and consistency in the development and production of files while respecting commitments made. Possessing an analytical and synthetic mind, you anticipate risks and propose adapted solutions. Your commitment is made with a sense of customer service that allows you to maintain a constructive dialogue and high satisfaction. Autonomous and proactive, you know how to take initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively. Language skills: Professional English is a prerequisite. IT skills: Mastery of common finite element structural calculation software (SCIA, Code_Aster, ANSYS, Robot …), Competence in programming software is appreciated Regulatory knowledge: Mastery of Eurocodes and French standards Knowledge of American AISC, ACI standards is appreciated
