Your team: You will join one of our establishments in the Alpes region (Grenoble, Chambéry, or Annecy); you will work with industrial players from various sectors: chemistry, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, mechanics, as well as other process industries. The team is composed of 45 people across all trades and is in full expansion. Your missions: Within our teams, you will take charge of the design, sizing, and securing of complex HTA/HTB electrical architectures. As a technical referent on network studies and ETAP calculation notes, you will intervene in the feasibility, preliminary design, and detailed study phases up to site realization, in coordination with clients, suppliers, contractors, and international project teams. Design and optimize electrical transport and distribution architectures: HTB/HTA substations, transformers, busbars, overhead and underground links, industrial networks, normal/emergency sources, and network interfaces. Perform, verify, and validate under ETAP power flow studies, short-circuits, motor starting, stability, protection coordination and selectivity, arc flash, and grounding, according to the project scope. Establish power balances, single-line diagrams, protection and control-command philosophies, design notes, technical specifications, datasheets, and tender documents. Size and specify main equipment: power transformers, AIS/GIS cells, circuit breakers, disconnectors, CT/VT, cables, busbars, protection relays, compensation systems, and earthing networks. Manage technical interfaces with civil engineering, automation/SCADA, safety, mechanics, utilities, network operators, and manufacturers. Analyze supplier offers, participate in technical clarifications, design reviews, FAT/SAT, and monitoring of execution deliverables. Ensure technical site monitoring: approvals, inspections, handling of deviations, expertise, monitoring of assembly and commissioning. Contribute to estimations, schedules, risk reviews, and feedback; technically support less experienced engineers and designers. Produce, present, and defend technical choices in English, both written and oral, to multicultural interlocutors.
Your assets: You are the ideal profile if Industry interests you and you possess a Bac+5 Engineer or Master 2 degree in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, electrical networks, or energy systems. You have at least 10 years of experience in engineering, implementation, or commissioning of HTA/HTB installations, including significant practice in complex projects. You demonstrate ETAP expertise applied to high voltage networks, with the ability to explain assumptions, control models, and interpret results. You also have solid experience with electricity transport and distribution networks, particularly in industrial environments; experience in the airport sector would be a major asset. Finally, you possess good knowledge of field activities related to the installation, testing, and commissioning of HT equipment, as well as a strong HSE culture and the ability to intervene on operating sites. Fluent technical English, autonomous professional level in speaking and writing; proven experience in international projects.
