Urban Hydraulics Project Manager - International

Your team: Within the "Urban Water – International" team, composed of about twenty employees, you will work on major urban hydraulics projects (water and sanitation) internationally.
Our consulting and project management missions generally exceed €500k, and often €1M, with large-capacity treatment plants: greater than 100,000 m³/d for drinking water, and greater than 200,000 EH for wastewater. Associated construction budgets are between €50 and €100M.
These projects involve the coordination of 2 to 5 subcontractors over durations ranging from a few months to several years.
Our main intervention areas are Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Egypt, Jordan, and many others. Your missions: As a Project Manager, you will lead all the business entrusted to you, from design to completion.
Your responsibilities cover: Technical and financial management of projects, including monitoring deadlines and budgets Coordination of production and project teams, and guaranteeing the quality of deliverables Client and subcontractor relations, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with commitments You will provide your expertise for: Feasibility studies and techno-financial analyses Development of master plans Design and supervision of transfer, storage, and pumping infrastructure for drinking water and sanitation Finally, you will actively contribute to international tender responses, defining the methodological approach and participating in pricing. To carry out these missions, you can count on the skills of your team as well as on Artelia's network of multidisciplinary experts.
A graduate engineer, specialized in urban hydraulics, you have at least 7 years of experience in conducting urban hydraulics studies. Your expertise is based on the mastery of necessary water supply and wastewater network modeling software (EPANET, WaterCAD, PCSWMM, SewerCAD, CANOE, or others). Having references in urban hydraulics on international projects and/or projects funded by donors is a plus. Beyond your technical skills, you are recognized for your interpersonal and organizational qualities: clear and effective communication, combined with an ability to coordinate and unite multidisciplinary teams. You have a keen sense of initiative, strong autonomy, and a rigor accompanied by analytical and synthesis skills. You never work alone; a good team spirit, the ability to step back from your missions, great curiosity, and a sense of sharing and helping your colleagues will be your assets for success. Your adaptability allows you to undertake occasional missions abroad (on average 2 to 5 trips per year, lasting about one week). Mastery of English is essential to evolve in an international context; proficiency in another language would be an asset.
