Design Project Manager - Data Centers

Our technical design office, represented by the Engineering branch, is composed of approximately 100 employees and intervenes in the design and construction supervision of all technical trades: structure, facade, CVC, plumbing, medical gases, SSI, CFO, CFA, SMART, and security.
It intervenes on operations with high technical added value such as: IGH, offices, hotels, shopping centers, data centers, etc. We work on projects in public or private markets, for new builds or rehabilitation operations. Our construction amounts vary from €10 to €500 M TCE for Project Management missions from the competition phase up to the AOR phase. As part of the reinforcement of our Data Center Department, we are looking for a Project Manager to intervene in the coordination of TCE studies, with experience on DC projects. You will work on large-scale operations with the support of a project team. In this context, you will very regularly be required to communicate in English: a good oral and written level is required. Your missions: Ensure the client relationship: identify needs and define the various technical and financial options, lead periodic project progress meetings Organize, plan, and manage the production of studies with the project teams by participating in the production of the main deliverables Ensure regular operational reporting throughout the project, both internally and with the client Verify the consistency of deliverables by relying on your professional experience as well as the skills of specialists Ensure the financial and contractual management of projects In parallel, you will contribute to business development in connection with the Department Manager and the Commercial Direction in the process of pre-sales appointments with clients or prospects, as well as responding to calls for tenders and participating in presentations.
Engineer by training or equivalent BAC+5, you have a confirmed experience of at least 8 years in data center project management functions as well as CVC or Electricity Engineer in a technical design office. You know the DATA CENTER environment and have already worked on this type of project in an Anglo-Saxon environment (RIBA). Mastery of written and conversational English is indispensable for this position. Your autonomy, rigor, ability to synthesize, writing and interpersonal skills, as well as your ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, will be assets for succeeding in this position. IT skills: Pack office. Knowledge of REVIT would be a plus. Regulatory knowledge: "Tier" certification from the Uptime Institute and the TIA 942 standard.
