About us
We are a Singapore custom framing, fine art printing and art restoration business. We frame everything from limited-edition prints and original paintings to large hotel and commercial projects with hundreds of pieces.
The role
You'll build custom frames and related woodwork in our workshop, working to precise measurements and a high standard of finish. Much of what we frame is valuable artwork, so care and accuracy matter more than speed.
Responsibilities
- Cut, join and assemble picture frames from wood and aluminium mouldings to exact specifications
- Operate workshop equipment such as mitre saws, underpinners, table saws, routers and sanders safely
- Build stretcher bars, shadow boxes, crates and custom display pieces
- Sand, fill, stain, paint and finish frames to a clean gallery standard
- Fit glass, acrylic, mount boards and backing, and prepare frames for hanging
- Pack and crate finished work for delivery; assist with deliveries and on-site installation when needed
- Keep tools, machines and the workshop clean, organised and in good working order
- Follow workplace safety practices and flag any damage or quality issues
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in carpentry, joinery, furniture making, framing or similar woodwork
- Able to read measurements and simple drawings accurately
- Good hand skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with power tools and workshop machinery
- Physically fit; able to lift and handle heavy frames and materials
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a small team
- Basic spoken English
- Must be eligible to work in Singapore
Good to have
- Picture framing experience
- Experience with spray finishing, veneering or gilding
- Class 3 driving licence
