HR Advisor

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced part time HR Advisor to join our operations team here at Arrow, you will report directly to Directors and work closely with senior management in order to provide advice and guidance to managers across the organisation.
The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing expert management across a range of employment issues including: employment advice; sickness absence; managing under performance; conduct and capability; flexible working; investigations, disciplinary and grievance; and consultation. This is an onsite role.
To be considered, you will need to be a confident and experienced HR Advisor who is used to operating within a commercial environment. You'll have the ability to manage your own workload whilst also forming part of the operations team
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and coaching to managers across a broad range of employment issues whilst managing your own workload;
- Report weekly to the Directors regarding HR related issues;
- Maintain a case management log;
- Draft, maintain and review HR policies as appropriate;
- Support recruitment in interviews and advise where required;
Experience:
- A confident working knowledge of employment law, recent case law and HR best practice;
- Experience of providing specialist HR advice to managers and colleagues across a range of issues;
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with the capability to produce reports
- A commercial, common sense and pragmatic approach;
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualification would be highly advantageous.
- Previous experience of Health and Safety would be an advantage but not essential
