Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Supervisor

About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Major duties

• Plan and establish overall leave schedules.
• Assign work to employees and provides technical direction.
• Review completed work to assure that production standards are met.
• Participate in improvement of work methods to achieve optimum content.
• Plan use of subordinate workers' equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Supervisor without more than normal supervision. The ability to perform common supervisor duties which includes explaining the proper procedures, protocols, or processes that is required for work direction of employees. I can demonstrate how to interpret guides such as blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals to perform functions of parts or systems; provide quality control review on performed repairs on heavy mobile equipment vehicles for organizations; and illustrate troubleshooting analysis to diagnose malfunctions. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
