Armor Machine specializes in the machining of Oil & Gas components, ranging from small components to the largest parts the down hole drilling industry.

Your tasks

Introduction: Armor Machine is hiring a shop hand with the scope of performing general laborer duties as well as shop specific processes. This position will have long term opportunities to progress within the organization.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Shop clean up. Emptying chip bins, garbage and sweeping floors.
• Applying different anticorrosion coatings such as phosphate.
• Perform industry specific grit blasting referred to as shot peening.
• Prepare shipments for delivery.
• Receive incoming material.
• Other duties will apply.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Ability to drive a Forklift and operate an overhead crane an asset
• Ability to lift 50lbs+
• Past Experience in warehousing considered an asset
• Ability to efficiently work independently as well as in a team
• Attention to detail
