Van Salesman

We are looking for an experienced Van Salesman to join our FMCG Food Division. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Traditional Trade/Grocery sales in Dubai, preferably handling premium food products and established customer routes.

Job Role:

• Manage and develop sales within assigned Dubai routes and traditional trade/grocery outlets.
• Visit customers regularly, take orders, promote products, and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with grocery stores and other traditional trade customers.
• Develop good knowledge of customers, competitors, products, and market conditions.
• Execute effective selling and negotiation strategies to maximize sales and distribution.
• Ensure proper numeric distribution and outlet coverage across the assigned route.
• Manage cash collection from customers and ensure timely settlement of outstanding amounts.
• Maintain accurate van stock, ensuring proper loading, stock rotation, and reconciliation.
• Monitor product availability, visibility, pricing, and competitor activities at outlets.
• Prepare daily sales, collection, stock, and route reports.
• Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of company products and cash.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG Food Sales, preferably in the UAE.
• Experience in Traditional Trade / Grocery Channel is essential.
• Experience handling premium food products is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Dubai market, customers, and sales routes.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and increase outlet coverage.
• Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in cash collection and account settlement.
• Good understanding of Numeric Distribution and outlet coverage.
• Hands-on experience in van stock management.
• UAE driving license is preferred/required depending on company vehicle arrangement.
• Good English communication skills.
• Candidates currently in the UAE with relevant FMCG experience are preferred.
