About Arkchetype ARKCHETYPE is a Singapore-based creative studio. We help organisations find the story within an idea, then work out the most compelling way to bring it to life. For more than a decade, we’ve worked across industries and markets in the region, combining storytelling craft with production expertise across film, animation, design, photography and emerging creative technology. As the boundaries between filmmaking, design and AI continue to shift, we’re interested in what new tools make possible - not for technology’s sake, but in service of better stories. We’re looking for a Producer to join our team. The Role This is a role for someone who likes taking ownership. You’ll run projects from brief to delivery - understanding what the client is trying to achieve, keeping people aligned, managing the moving parts and solving problems before they become bigger ones. The work is varied. One project might be a brand film, another an animation or regional event production, and the next something we’re figuring out for the first time. You don’t need to know everything from Day One. We can teach processes and parts of production. What is harder to teach - and what matters to us - is good judgment, curiosity, follow-through and the instinct to take responsibility for getting something across the line. What You’ll Do Own and coordinate projects from briefing and pre-production through production, post-production and final delivery.

Manage schedules, budgets, resources, crews, vendors and project logistics.

Be a dependable day-to-day point of contact for clients, communicating clearly and professionally.

Keep projects moving and visible - knowing what’s happening, what’s pending, what comes next and what may be at risk.

Anticipate problems, surface them early and work out what needs to happen next.

Brief and coordinate creative, production and post-production teams, and translate client feedback into clear, actionable direction.

Develop the technical understanding needed to work effectively with editors, animators, filmmakers and other specialists.

Contribute to story and creative discussions where you have the interest and ability.

Explore AI and emerging creative tools and help us identify where they can genuinely improve the way we think, create and produce.

What We’re Looking For We’re less concerned with having the perfect title, qualification or number of years on your CV than with how you think, work and learn. You may be a good fit if you: Have around 2–5 years of relevant experience in production, content, creative agencies, media or a related environment. Strong candidates outside this range are welcome too.

Take ownership and follow through without needing to be constantly chased.

Are organised, resourceful and able to keep multiple moving parts under control.

Communicate early when something is unclear, delayed or at risk.

Write and speak English confidently and professionally.

Can communicate effectively in Mandarin, as the role involves working with Mandarin-speaking clients and production partners in Greater China.

Understand that good client servicing is about clarity, judgment and trust - not simply passing messages between people.

Are curious about AI and emerging creative technology. You don’t need to know every platform, but you should want to experiment, learn quickly and think critically about where these tools add value.

Have enough humility to ask when you don’t know something and enough initiative to work things out.

Are comfortable speaking up when you see a better way, open to having your own thinking challenged in return, and able to move forward once a decision is made.

Experience with video production, post-production workflows, Premiere Pro, After Effects or other creative tools is useful, but you don’t need to be an editor or animator. Formal qualifications matter less to us than demonstrated ability, judgment and attitude. Working at Arkchetype We’re a small team, so you’ll work closely with the founder and creative team and get exposure to much more than one narrow part of the production process. There isn’t a large hierarchy to disappear into. Your contribution will be visible, and you’ll sometimes need to work beyond neat functional boundaries. In return, good work is noticed quickly too - and as you demonstrate capability and judgment, so will the responsibility you’re trusted with. We value people who think for themselves. Speak up, question assumptions and bring a point of view - but be equally willing to have your own thinking challenged. Good ideas matter more than hierarchy, and once a decision is made, we move forward together. Our normal working hours are 9:30am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. Production isn’t always predictable, and shoots, events or deadlines will occasionally require flexibility. We try to plan responsibly around normal hours and believe flexibility should work both ways. This is primarily an in-person role, with a weekly work-from-home day where project requirements allow. Compensation & Benefits S4,000–S5,000 per month, depending on experience, capability and the level of responsibility you can independently take on

Annual performance bonus

Health insurance

Exposure to regional projects and clients

Hands-on learning across creative, production, client management and emerging AI workflows

Room to take on greater project, client and team responsibility as you grow

How to Apply Send us your CV and, where relevant, examples of projects you’ve worked on. Instead of a generic cover letter, tell us briefly about one project you personally owned that became difficult or went off track: what happened, what did you do, and what would you do differently now? We’re interested in how you think, not just how the finished work looked.
