Equipment Manager, Backend Equipment

Overall Job Objectives

We are seeking for a Equipment Manager for the strategic procurement of Equipment. This individual will lead complex sourcing projects, develop supplier strategies, and support long-term value creation. As a senior member of the team, this role also mentors Buyers and acts as a key interface between Procurement and senior stakeholders in Engineering, R&D, and Operations.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business; MBA preferred.
• Min 7–10 years in strategic sourcing or category management, ideally in manufacturing, semiconductor, or equipment-heavy industries.
• Experience in managing cross-functional initiatives and strategic supplier negotiations.
• Advanced negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with TCO, cost modelling, and financial acumen.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle), and e-sourcing tools.
• Travel: Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (10–20%).
