Director for Procurement Excellence

This is acritical role in a global organisation to ensure governance, compliance, and consistency globally. Key Responsibilities: •      Define procurement policy & delegation of authority; set sourcing standards and quality gates. •      Publish methodology & playbooks; maintain should‑cost and market fact packs. •      Set SRM framework: segmentation, QBR cadence, scorecards. •      Set and track annual cost targets (CNI) per portfolio. •      Drive TCO/TVO levers: should‑cost, value engineering, index/FX mechanisms. •      Maintain clause library & templates with Legal; guide contracting playbooks. •      Monitor supplier risk (financial/ESG/cyber/geo) and continuity planning. •      Own data model & spend analytics; value tracking dashboards. . Job Requirements: ·        Degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA preferred. ·        Min8 years in procurement/category management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. ·        Experience in any high-tech manufacturing sourcing preferred. ·        Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to manage complexity. ·        Excellent leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. ·        Deep understanding of sourcing strategy, contract law, and supplier performance management. ·        Proven negotiation skills at executive supplier level. ·        Travel: Willingness to travel globally (up to 20%).
