Your working environment

You will be integrated into the "Design Office" service within the "Infrastructures Sécurisées" department. As part of your duties, you will be responsible for the design and sizing of structures (concrete, steel, composite, wood) for the infrastructures entrusted to the department.

Your missions

1. Design and sizing of structures: Study client needs in complex projects and organizations, translate their needs into technical specifications related to the structurePerform diagnostics on client sitesStudy operating loads, wind, snow, seismic, explosions, aircraft crash with project managers or the MOAProduce calculation models and simulations.Perform sizing calculations for structures (steel, reinforced concrete, composite structures, wood) in APD and PRO phasesStudy structures in feasibility, preliminary design, and project phases: cost estimates, preliminary schedules, descriptive notes, minutes, proposal of adapted technical solutions and choice of materials.Prepare calculation notes in accordance with current standards (Eurocodes, specific standards for INB and INBS, American standards for explosion calculation)Supervise drafters for studies and graphic documents (principle diagrams and plan drawings)Collaborate with other disciplines for the technical and scheduling consistency of projects during the study phaseVerify the technical and regulatory feasibility of projectsParticipate in technical choices and the optimization of structural solutions***Ensure technological monitoring.

1. During DCE/EXE/Works phase: Draft and/or verify specifications and the technical dossier, written documents CCTP (particular technical clauses specification), DPGF (breakdown of global and lump sum price), calculation notes, technical notes, etc.Establish and/or control a work schedule for the structural work, civil engineering, and frameworks.Participate in the consultation with companies in collaboration with the Purchasing Service.Perform the analysis of company offers and establish summary reports following consultations.Control the execution studies of companies, issue and follow up on VISAAttend technical meetings.Ensure the control and execution of the ongoing construction site in compliance with the specifications and current standards.

Profile sought

Education: You have a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Civil Engineering or structures Experience: You have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the field of structures, including significant experience in a design office. Experience in the field of nuclear works subject to complex load cases would be a plus.

Technical skills: You have a perfect mastery of Eurocodes and a good knowledge of standard professional design software (Robot Structural Analysis, Graitec / Advance Design, SCIA Engineer or equivalent. Mastery of more advanced software such as Abaqus, Code Aster, LS Dyna is a plusYou are capable of producing your own calculation sheets (reinforced concrete, steel framework, wood, slabs, blast walls)Your writing skills are recognized***You have a command of technical and professional English

Practical information:

Travel: Occasional travel to other ArianeGroup sites. Important: This position requires a defense clearance issued by the Ministry of the Armed Forces.
