Test Automation Engineer (m/f)

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for a Test Automation Engineer m/f (French-speaking) to join one of our client teams in Luxembourg within the insurance sector . In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of automated testing solutions to improve test coverage, accelerate testing activities, and enable early defect detection. You will combine technical expertise in test automation with testing methodologies and emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies , working closely with business and IT stakeholders in an Agile environment.

THE WORK:

Test Automation

Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to identify relevant test automation scenarios.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts in line with the test automation strategy and established best practices.

Implement automated tests covering:

• Functional and business processes, including data migration.
• Technical integration, end-to-end testing, and APIs.
• Specific testing needs such as performance and portability.

Ensure the quality, coverage, reliability, maintainability, robustness, and cost-effectiveness of automated tests.

Support teams in maintaining and improving existing automated test suites, including addressing test automation technical debt.

AI-Augmented Testing

Leverage AI-powered tools to optimize testing activities, including:

• Test case generation.
• Test data generation.
• Automated test script development.
• Test execution results analysis.

Evaluate and integrate new AI-based testing solutions when relevant.

Contribute to the development and adoption of AI-Augmented Testing practices .

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation strategies and QA processes.

Support stakeholders in planning, estimating, and designing automated testing activities.

Analyze, document, and support the resolution of defects identified during testing.

Participate in requirements and specification reviews to improve testability and automation coverage.

Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing on test automation practices.

Contribute to the improvement of QA and DevSecOps processes .

Continuous Integration & Collaboration

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.

Support the monitoring and maintenance of automated test executions to ensure long-term reliability.

Participate in the analysis of incidents related to automated test campaigns.

Promote testing best practices and support teams in adopting effective automation approaches.

Collaborate with IT, business, architecture, security, and production teams to ensure the successful delivery of testing activities.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration. Our roles require in-person time to encourage collaboration, learning, and relationship-building with clients, colleagues, and communities. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Professional experience in software testing and test automation (3-5 years).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT.
• Good knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks, and scripting practices .
• Experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests.
• Understanding of functional, integration, end-to-end, and API testing .
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and test automation strategies .
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps/DevSecOps practices .
• Understanding of test coverage, test maintainability, defect management, and continuous improvement.
• Interest in or exposure to AI-powered testing tools and AI-Augmented Testing approaches .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in French language .
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience using AI tools for test case generation, test data preparation, or test automation development .
• Knowledge of performance testing, data migration testing, or specialized testing approaches .
• Experience supporting the definition or improvement of test automation strategies.
• Experience sharing testing best practices and supporting other teams in adopting automation.
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector .
