Corporate Actions Analyst, Equities & Fixed Income (1-Year Contract)

Our client, a global bank, is hiring an Asset Services Officer for its APAC Asset Services team, which handles corporate actions events across equity and fixed income products.

You will manage corporate action elections, resolve breaks and handle client queries, working day to day with traders, stock loan counterparties and clients. It suits someone who enjoys problem solving, is careful with detail and builds good working relationships easily. The team is visible to the business and adds real value, so it is a strong place to build corporate actions experience.

What you'll do

• Process corporate action events accurately and on time, in line with departmental procedures and agreed service levels
• Manage internal and external stakeholders on corporate action issues
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks in accounts daily
• Respond to and investigate queries promptly
• Follow documented procedures, control guidelines and the compliance framework
• Manage the operational risk within your processes
• Help design and implement process improvements, and take part in projects and ad hoc tasks

What you'll bring

• Tertiary education with a good academic record
• Experience in the financial industry, with corporate actions knowledge preferred
• The ability to prioritise a heavy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• An independent, proactive approach and strong communication skills
• Drive, good organisation and a team-first attitude
