CONCRETE PLANT MANAGER - 22049

General objective of the role/position

Plan, coordinate, and control the logistics of concrete production from the assigned plant, complying with quality, productivity, industrial safety, environmental, and cost standards to achieve the regional objectives.

Responsibilities of the role/position

Implement the defined production plan to achieve the productivity, quality, service, and cost goals defined by the business. Plan and manage the labor required for the production and distribution of concrete from the assigned plant to guarantee business productivity. Implement industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental safety plans in the assigned plants so that they are within the standards defined by the industrial business. Control that the defined flows and processes for movement within the plant are met and achieve the defined productivity goals. Comply with general provisions regarding cleanliness, order, safety, and waste management to guarantee the standards defined by the industrial business. Control the production cost and expense budget to guarantee the profitability of the regional area. Perform analysis and control of product quality results, processes, and equipment performance to report improvement opportunities. Monitor policies and indicators of their processes in order to guarantee compliance with organizational objectives through the identification of improvement opportunities and the proposal of actions that ensure adequate resource management. Lead and handle claims, providing technical advice to customers, ensuring their solution and their satisfaction with the service provided. Verify and control that raw material inventory levels are within the established ranges for the assigned plant to maintain an adequate accounting closing. Define the development plan for the personnel in charge to improve performance and achieve organizational objectives. Control compliance with quality programs and standards for all products delivered from the assigned plant to guarantee customer satisfaction. Prepare and control the cost and expense budget for the purpose of complying with Management guidelines. Detect and implement improvement opportunities involving cost reduction to guarantee the sustainability of the plant. Lead the optimization of Raw Material and Fuel consumption to contribute to cost optimization. Promote compliance with equipment and process maintenance plans in an effective and efficient manner to ensure high reliability and availability of the plant. Manage and prepare purchase orders in terms of production in SAP to ensure the management of expenses and costs in the system and guarantee production.

Education

Specialization in Civil Engineering or materials Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
