Receptionist for the winter season – Pyhä–Luosto / Sodankylä area

We are looking for a joyful, flexible, and customer-service-oriented receptionist for our client for the winter season 2026–2027.

The work begins in November and continues until the end of March. The work is located in the Pyhä–Luosto / Sodankylä area in an international tourism environment.

This is a versatile task, where your main responsibility will be reception duties and serving customers throughout their entire visit. During the busiest times, especially in the evenings, you will also participate in restaurant customer service and assist with serving. We are looking for a person who enjoys varied work tasks and is happy to help the team where help is needed. The task also requires assisting tasks in serving on the restaurant side.

Work tasks

• Receiving customers as well as check-ins and check-outs
• Processing reservations and other daily reception tasks

• Advising customers and providing excellent customer service
• Resolving daily customer situations

• Assisting with restaurant floor tasks and serving, especially during evening shifts
• Close cooperation with the reception, restaurant, and other departments

What we hope from you

• Previous experience in reception, tourism, or customer service roles
• Excellent customer service attitude and good interpersonal skills

• Flexibility and a desire to work in diverse tasks
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Good English language skills (other language skills are considered an advantage)
• Experience with hotel reservation systems is considered an advantage

• An alcohol passport is considered an advantage
• As a special advantage, we consider it a plus if you can arrange your own accommodation. Having your own car or a driving license is also considered an advantage.
