Precision Assembly Technician Aerospace Components
As an assembly technician, you are responsible for the assembly of satellite components. You assemble the mechanical, optical, and electronic parts into a final product. The assembly follows a fixed procedure and quality requirements. During and after assembly, you perform various tests on the product to guarantee quality, and you record these tests in a report.
The assembly takes place primarily in our cleanroom. You will wear specialized cleanroom clothing and follow fixed procedures to protect our products against dust and contamination. Experience in a cleanroom is not required.
Additionally, you may be involved in other production and quality activities, such as:
- performing electrical and functional tests;
- supporting thermal and shock testing;
- performing incoming inspections;
- managing and controlling parts and inventory;
- preparing production activities;
- improving assembly and production processes.
Training for the tasks is provided within the company.
Requirements
- Meticulous working and reporting
- Working fluently with Word and Excel
- Eye for detail
- You have good fine motor skills and enjoy working with small parts
- Able to work with concentration for extended periods
- Enjoys working according to clear instructions and fixed procedures
- Can express yourself and understand work instructions in English
Optional
- Experience with Python
- Experience with simple soldering tasks
- Interest in aerospace
