Senior Java Developer with Security Expertise
Daily tasks
- Designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Java and Spring Boot technology.
- Creating secure, scalable solutions based on microservices architecture.
- Implementing authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms.
- Securing REST API and integrations with external systems.
- Identifying and eliminating potential vulnerabilities in code and application architecture.
- Applying secure coding best practices and OWASP standards.
- Participating in architecture design and making technical decisions.
- Conducting code reviews with a particular focus on code quality and security.
- Creating unit and integration tests.
- Collaborating with Security, DevOps, QA teams, and architects.
- Participating in security incident analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Supporting CI/CD processes and application deployment in containerized or cloud environments.
- Creating and updating technical documentation.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in developing applications in Java.
Very good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
Experience in creating and developing systems based on microservices.
Practical knowledge of issues related to application security.
Experience in securing REST API and authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Knowledge of Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, or similar solutions.
Knowledge of secure programming best practices and basic threats described by OWASP.
Experience with IAM systems, Keycloak, SAML, PKI, or identity management solutions will be an additional asset.
Knowledge of relational databases, Git, and CI/CD tools.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud solutions will be welcome.
Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, solve problems, and collaborate with Security, DevOps, and architect teams.
English language proficiency allowing for free communication in an international project environment.
