We are looking for an Accountant!

Are you an Accounting professional with experience in accounting processes, preparation of Financial Statements, and NIIF? This opportunity is for you!

Position Details

• Position: Contador(a)
• Company: Astara Perú
• Remuneration: S/ 3,500
• Contract: Fixed term for 4 months, with possibility of renewal
• Modality: Mixed
• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Location: Av. Rivera Navarrete 495, floor 6 San Isidro

What will be your main challenge?

You will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of Financial Statements, as well as providing support in the accounting closing, cost control, account analysis, and compliance with the company's accounting and tax regulations.

Main functions

• Prepare Financial Statements and Notes to the EEFF under NIIF.
• Coordinate the accounting closing process and validate financial information.
• Review and analyze accounting provisions.
• Analyze and control the company's expenses and income.
• Prepare and control the costs of inventory and services.
• Perform control of fixed assets, accruals, and financial obligations.
• Attend to external audit requirements and tax inspections.
• Prepare information related to the Local Transfer Pricing Report.
• Monitor income statement accounts and balance sheet account balances.
• Follow up on accounting policies and procedures.
• Propose improvements and optimizations in accounting processes.

Requirements

• Professional or graduate in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the accounting area.
• Experience in the preparation and analysis of Financial Statements.
• Experience in accounting closings.
• Knowledge of NIIF.
• Experience and knowledge in costs.
• Knowledge of current tax regulations.
• Experience in handling external audits and/or tax inspections.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Proficiency in Office/Excel.
• Intermediate level English.
