Temporary Technical Buyer

Requirements:

• Three years of experience as a buyer
• Intermediate English Level
• Negotiation Skills.

Job Functions.

Manage the purchase of consumables, miscellaneous materials, tools, and equipment with international suppliers, seeking the best cost/benefit ratio and timely availability of the material.

Closely follow up on all Purchase Orders (Expediting) in order to receive the requested material on the date agreed upon with the supplier or earlier, depending on the prevailing operating conditions.

Maintain close, timely, and effective communication with suppliers to ensure that the requested material meets the required specifications.

Coordinate the shipment of materials from the supplier to their receipt at the OpCo warehouse seeking the best cost/benefit ratio, including the selection of Courier and shipping priority, as well as coordinating critical orders with the consolidation Center designated by the OpCo, the Receiving and Quality Control areas.

Initiate the payment process for Purchase Orders placed with suppliers with advance payment terms.

Workplace: O (Centro Comercial Las Cascadas)

Work Schedule Monday to Friday (7:00 am-3:48 pm).

• Minimum education: University
• 3 years of experience
• Languages: English
• Age: between 25 and 45 years
• Knowledge: Negotiation capacity, Purchasing management, Price analysis, microsoft excel pivot tables
