Research Technician - Galvanizing Process M/F

The proposed position is within the MCS (Metallic Coatings and Surfaces) department, which consists of approximately 80 people. The position is more specifically attached to the MCPROC (Metallic Coating Process) service, whose core business is the optimization of galvanizing processes (through the development of models, technologies, and knowledge) and support for the industrialization of new coatings. Your role As a technician in the Metallic Coating Process service, you will work on the optimization of the galvanizing process and the development of processes for the industrialization of new coatings. In this context, your main responsibilities will be:
performing laboratory tests, including writing conclusion reports, responsibility for pilots/equipment, including writing operating procedures, monitoring the calibration of sensors, and adapting the tool to the needs of the studies (defining specifications, searching for suppliers, managing exchanges with the design office and the measurement and control department, commissioning new equipment), participating in industrial trials and their analysis. This includes trial preparation (exchanges with the plant), conducting the trial in the plant (instrumentation, sampling, readings), and analyzing the trials (database analysis, reception and analysis of samples).
Your profile
You have training oriented towards materials engineering, physical measurements, thermal/energy engineering, or process engineering. You possess good interpersonal skills (teamwork) as well as the ability to manage testing tasks/achievements independently. You have an appetite for field work (travel for trials in industrial environments) You have a good capacity for analysis and understanding of the experimental results obtained. You have an intermediate level of English.
