One of the activities of the Maizières Produits research center is the research and development of new ultra-high strength steel solutions for automotive applications. ArcelorMittal is currently among the world leaders in the development of these solutions. Your role With PHS products as a key contributor to the company's activities, with up to 2 Mt/year of products globally, significant challenges arise to maintain leadership in this field, given the increasing competition from other steelmakers and the technological evolution of hot forming processes. In this context, we are seeing a strong increase in R&D requests for new tools to optimize product design, taking into account both cost and performance factors that can help differentiate ArcelorMittal PHS solutions in the market (including new decarbonized solutions), ensuring our leadership through new patents, and supporting the development of new complex regional markets such as Asia. Your main mission will focus on building reliable databases on process-product performance through in-depth experimental work and on integration via digitalization tools within the framework of PHS R&D. You have knowledge and experience in the field of materials/metals as well as in related laboratory/plant activities. You possess skills in metal processing and characterization as well as in digital tools. You have an intermediate level of English.
