Research Technician in Bonding Characterization M/F

The ArcelorMittal research center in Montataire specializes in the applications of new steels for the automotive industry. The objective is to support and facilitate the integration of new steels with automotive manufacturers. Your role As a Research and Studies Technician in bonding and steel assembly, you will be in charge of bonding compatibility studies on new coatings, as part of internal studies or for external clients (automotive market). The execution of studies includes:

a planning phase a surface preparation and bonding phase mechanical characterization tests of assemblies writing reports.

You will also be responsible for certain equipment (maintenance plan, metrology) You will work under the responsibility of an engineer. You will be part of a team composed of technicians and engineers and will have an essentially experimental activity. The mission within the Research Center requires capacities for continuous learning of new techniques and knowledge, experimental rigor in the organization of tests, and teamwork. The ability to adapt to new technologies and professions related to the evolution of the Center's research program is indispensable. Your profile

You have skills and experience in bonding and/or chemistry and/or mechanical testing. You benefit from previous experience in an R&D or Quality/Expertise laboratory. You have an intermediate level of English. You have an ability to adapt and learn (new techniques, new materials) You benefit from experimental rigor and a capacity for synthesis.
