Role Description:

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Specialist Lifecycle Management Energy, Environment and Sustainability (f/m/d) at our locations in Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg or Munich.

The position is located within our global Places business area. Together with our clients around the world, we create, promote and optimize intelligent, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive. Role Responsibility:

• Advising and supporting our clients, primarily focusing on the following areas: - Technical structural and energetic condition assessment of commercial, industrial and residential real estate, including assessment of relevant sustainability aspects
• Sustainability and Green Building strategies in the private and public sectors and in the development of the real estate of the future
• Implementation and support of sustainability certifications for real estate (DGNB, QNG, DGNB GiB, BREEAM DE, LEED, Well)
• CO2 and life cycle assessment (Carbon Due Diligence), CRREM analysis
• Energy audits and energy efficiency assessment for buildings and portfolios
• Technical and economic analyses over the Asset Lifecycle
• Assessment and analysis of locations and areas regarding technical, economic and operational feasibility to support location strategies, restructurings, repositionings, consolidations and relocation
• Development of sound decision-making bases in the course of transformation and optimization projects
• Climate strategies and climate protection concepts for cities and municipalities
• ESG Assessment and consulting (Environmental Social Governance)
• Energy management and monitoring systems, development of management and KPI systems as well as benchmarking
• Representation of the company and solutions to clients and partners
• Creation and presentation of concepts, analyses and reports as well as advising our clients on the strategic direction of organizations and processes
• Initiation, planning and leadership of workshops with clients and partners
• Independently and in a team, developing results in the specialist field, conducting site or object inspections as well as performing audits and creating reports
• Openness to new challenges and topics surrounding energy and sustainability

Qualifications & Experience:

• Successfully completed studies (Architecture, Civil Engineering or a comparable field) with several years of professional experience (min. 3 years)
• Sound specialist knowledge in the aforementioned focus areas
• Experience in consulting and planning and implementation as well as solving tasks
• Strong communication skills and high customer orientation
• Ability and willingness to take on qualitative, professional and temporal responsibility
• Confident and poised appearance
• Independence, teamwork, willingness to travel and flexibility
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
