Role Description:
To strengthen our team in the Energy Transition area at one of our locations in Germany, we are looking for you as a Project Engineer Cable Civil Engineering and Grid Expansion (f/m/d).
The position is located within our global Resilience business area. We want to protect our natural environment and our water resources and keep our world alive for future generations. The impacts of climate change, rapid urbanization, and loss of biological diversity have become noticeable all over the world. The frequency with which unforeseen disasters such as floods and wildfires occur is increasing significantly. Role Responsibility:
As a Project Engineer, you will work on projects in power and telecommunications grid expansion (ground-based linear infrastructure). Your tasks include:
- Technical guidance in civil engineering planning
- Management and control of schedules, costs, and quality
- Management of participating design offices
- Support with offers and direct customer contact
Qualifications & Experience:

- Successfully completed studies (Civil Engineering or comparable)
- Ideally initial professional experience in cable construction projects, distribution networks, grid expansion, broadband, and line or route planning
- Experience in permit management with authorities
- Experience in schedule and cost tracking as well as the associated reporting
- Teamwork and enthusiasm, flexibility
- Good written and spoken English skills
