Mission Ensure that water treatment and softening processes are of high quality based on established formats, diagrams, analytical methods, and parameters, achieving the supply of water to the entire plant, whether for general use or for product manufacturing. · Responsibilities
Ensure the water supply to carry out the treated water process within the specifications required by the ARCACONTINENTAL quality management system. Control the flow of well water and analyze chlorine, nitrate, hardness, and pH; maintain the level of hard water cisterns and elevated tanks, randomly evaluating alkalinity, hardness, pH, and chlorine. Process treated water for bottling by randomly analyzing pH, chlorine, taste, odor, turbidity, aluminum, nitrates, and STD. Perform and verify the preparations of lime slurry and flocculant for the flocculation - coagulation process. Perform purges of the reactor tanks for solids control. Perform backwashing of the multimedia filters and recover the water from these services. Check the pressure of the polishing filters and perform cartridge changes when required. Report any mechanical problems of the water treatment system. Ensure the water supply to carry out the soft water process within the specifications required by the ARCACONTINENTAL quality management system. Process soft water through softening filters to be used in washers, boilers, and air compressors, ensuring that hardness is eliminated. Perform softener regeneration when required (hardness above 10 ppm in the softener) in order to comply with established standards. Recover rinse water from the softeners for use. Distribute recovered water for initial rinses in the washers. Process the recovered water to reuse it in the initial rinses. Verify the removal of soda by means of CO2 gas (neutralizer) and analyze alkalinity, pH, and chlorine to comply with established standards. Assist in the sanitation process of the quality control department in order to comply with established quality guidelines and standards. Operate the boilers to produce steam for the sanitation of quality control equipment and control the temperature for bottle washers in order to sterilize equipment. Verify that safety controls are functioning properly to prevent accidents. Monitor and control pollutant emissions daily to minimize environmental impact. Perform maintenance on boiler equipment for its correct operation.
Requirements
