Junior Treasury Accountant
Job Summary The Junior Accountant will support the day-to-day finance and accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, preparing reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing activities. Job Requirements and Duties
- Accounting Operations
Record and process daily accounting transactions accurately and on time.
Prepare and maintain accounting entries, supporting documents, and schedules.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Support invoice verification and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Assist with recording bank charges, expenses, transfers, and other routine financial transactions.
- Bank Reconciliation & Cash Monitoring
Assist in preparing regular bank reconciliations and investigating outstanding or unidentified transactions.
Monitor daily bank transactions and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
Follow up on discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
Maintain organized records of bank statements and supporting documents.
- Month-End & Financial Reporting
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Assist in reviewing account balances and identifying discrepancies or unusual transactions.
Support the preparation of financial reports and other management information as required.
- Payments & Documentation
Assist in preparing and processing approved payments in line with company procedures.
Verify payment supporting documents and ensure proper approvals are in place.
Maintain accurate and complete records of financial transactions.
Support the Finance team with payment follow-ups and related documentation.
- Controls & Compliance
Follow company accounting policies, internal controls, and approval procedures.
Ensure proper filing and retention of financial documents.
Assist with internal and external audit requirements by providing requested documentation.
Escalate discrepancies, unusual transactions, or missing documentation to the Finance team.
Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline .

1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar finance role.
Good practical knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions.
Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and journal entries is preferred.
Good understanding of month-end closing and financial reporting.
Experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.
Other Essential Requirements Good Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and basic PivotTables.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
