Junior / Fresh Graduate Purchasing Engineer
We are seeking an ambitious, analytical, and energetic Fresh Graduate Purchasing Engineer to join our procurement and supply chain team. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for a Mechatronics engineering graduate looking to build a career in industrial procurement, technical sourcing, and supply chain management. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering specifications and commercial purchasing, helping us source high-quality mechanical, electrical, and automation components, raw materials, and industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities Technical Sourcing: Evaluate purchase requisitions and collaborate with internal technical teams to fully understand engineering requirements for mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic components.
Supplier Engagement: Request quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards with local and international suppliers.
Technical Evaluation: Review supplier technical data sheets, proposals, and catalog specifications to ensure compliance with engineering standards and operational needs.
Comparative Analysis: Prepare comprehensive bid tabulations, cost-benefit analyses, and vendor comparison reports to support data-driven purchasing decisions.
Order Execution & Tracking: Issue Purchase Orders (POs) through the ERP system, track delivery milestones, and coordinate closely with warehousing and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor performance records, assist in supplier audits, and help build a reliable database of approved technical vendors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the maintenance, production, and quality control departments to resolve any non-conformities, delivery delays, or material discrepancies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Fresh graduate (0 to 1 year of experience; previous graduation projects, internships, or student activities in supply chain, manufacturing, or technical sales are a strong plus).
Technical Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, automation hardware, sensors, motors, and industrial spare parts.
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting). Familiarity with ERP systems is a distinct advantage.
Language Skills: Excellent command of both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Personal Attributes: Strong negotiation and communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
