HVAC Technician

Apt Resources is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC technician for one of its clients, a reputed and well-established facility management company in Dubai that is part of a larger group of companies. The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair HVAC systems to ensure their efficient and reliable operation across assigned facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair split, VRF, and chilled water-based HVAC systems.
• Identify technical faults and carry out necessary repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor system performance and ensure HVAC equipment functions properly.
• Install, service, and replace HVAC components as required.
• Follow assigned maintenance schedules and complete work orders within the required time frame.
• Maintain maintenance records and report technical issues to the HVAC supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other maintenance team members to support smooth facility operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certificate in HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning, or a related field.
• At least four years of experience as an HVAC technician in the UAE.
• Previous experience in the facility management industry.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of split, VRF, and chilled water-based HVAC systems.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
