HVAC Technician

Apt Resources is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC technician for one of its clients, a reputed and well-established facility management company that is part of a larger group of companies in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure their efficient and reliable operation across assigned facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair split, VRF, and chilled water-based HVAC systems.
• Identify technical faults and perform necessary repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor system performance and ensure HVAC equipment functions properly.
• Install, service, and replace HVAC components as required.
• Follow assigned maintenance schedules and complete work orders within the required timeframe.
• Maintain maintenance records and report technical issues to the HVAC supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other maintenance team members to ensure smooth facility operations.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certificate in HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning, or a related field.
• At least four years of experience as an HVAC technician in the UAE.
• Previous experience in the facility management industry.
• Hands-on technical knowledge of split, VRF, and chilled water-based HVAC systems.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment.
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
