Senior Press Officer | Belo Horizonte

Our team is constantly growing and we are looking for a Senior Press Officer for our BH team! Must reside in Belo Horizonte or in municipalities of the Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region (RMBH)

Responsibilities and duties Develop and execute press relationship strategies, aligned with the communication and reputation objectives of the clients; Identify news opportunities and develop suggestions for stories, approaches, and relevant content; Build and maintain close relationships with journalists, editors, columnists, and local, regional, and national media outlets, as well as those within the client's segment; Draft press releases, news suggestions, notes, Q&As, briefings, key messages, and other communication materials; Prepare spokespersons for interviews and support media training processes; Monitor interviews, events, and press agendas; Monitor trends and movements in the clients' sectors of operation, identifying communication risks and opportunities; Risk mapping and support for communication strategies in crisis situations and sensitive topics; Track press results, analyze indicators, and prepare reports and recommendations; Interface with different areas of the clients, ensuring alignment, agility, and quality in deliveries;

Requirements and qualifications Higher education degree in Journalism; Reside in Belo Horizonte or in municipalities of the Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region; Experience in press relations and corporate communication; Experience with complex news topics, sensitive themes, and different market segments;

Additional information Experience in sectors such as mining, steelmaking, energy, industry, infrastructure; Experience with integrated communication, including digital and social media.

Advanced or fluent English Advanced English for participation in meetings and receiving materials;
