Accounting Assistant

On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Evia, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join their team.

The successful candidate will be based in Nea Artaki, Chalkida, and should be a self-motivated professional with strong organizational and analytical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves supporting the company's day-to-day financial and accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of accounting functions, including invoice preparation, account reconciliations, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Managing communication and coordination with clients, business partners and warehouse operations.
• Manage vendor invoices, ensuring prompt payment processing while fostering positive relationships with suppliers.
• Liaising with external partners (banks, accountants, auditors).
• Performing administrative tasks as needed in the department (communication with public authorities and service providers, drafting of agreements, management of correspondence, monitoring and ordering of office supplies).

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in an accounting or invoicing-related role, preferably within a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
• Previous experience in invoicing, invoice processing, and financial recordkeeping.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and the Greek tax framework.
• Good command of MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems will be considered an asset.
• Good command of English will be considered a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
