Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring materials used on site meet project specifications. In addition to reviewing material submittals, coordinating testing, and monitoring compliance with quality requirements.

Review and approve all material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Monitor batching, production, and placement processes to ensure consistency with approved mix designs.

Oversee material testing programs including field and laboratory testing.

Coordinate with contractors and laboratories to resolve material-related issues.

Evaluate and approve concrete and asphalt mix designs, ensuring suitability for project requirements and environmental conditions.

Ensure QA/QC compliance for all materials used across the project.

Requirements

BSc Civil or Geotechnical/Geological Engineering

7-10 years of experience

Infrastructure experience

Asphalt and concrete mix design experience

QA/QC experience

Key Competencies

Technical: Material engineering for infrastructure projects, concrete and asphalt mix design review and approval, laboratory and field testing (ASTM/AASHTO standards), QA/QC procedures

Behavioral: Detail-oriented, analytical.
