Senior Construction Digital Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Digital Engineer to drive the application of digital technology, data analytics, automation and digital workflows across construction projects. The role will work closely with the BIM, Project, Engineering and Operations teams to develop practical digital solutions that improve project coordination, productivity, reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Engineering & Construction Technology

• Lead the development and implementation of digital solutions, applications and workflows to support construction operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve construction processes through automation, programming, data analytics and digitalisation .
• Develop tools and applications to streamline project reporting, tracking, documentation and data management.
• Support the integration of digital systems across project and corporate functions.

BIM & Digital Coordination

• Work closely with the BIM team to enhance BIM workflows and integrate project data with digital applications.
• Support the development of digital solutions using BIM models, project databases and construction data .
• Develop automated workflows for model/data extraction, checking, reporting and coordination.
• Support BIM-to-field and digital construction initiatives where applicable.

Programming & Data Analytics

• Develop scripts, applications and automation tools to improve project efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Analyse project data to identify trends, performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop dashboards, reports and data visualisations for project and management use.
• Integrate data from different systems and sources to support better decision-making.

Project Support

• Work with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams to understand operational challenges and develop practical digital solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams on digital tools and workflows.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and continuously improve them.
• Maintain proper documentation, standards and version control for digital applications and workflows.

Digitalisation & Innovation

• Research and evaluate emerging construction technology, AI, automation and digital tools relevant to the company's operations.
• Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives for new digital solutions.
• Promote digital adoption and a culture of continuous improvement across project teams.
