Sales & Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
Identify and engage Marketing Managers, Brand Managers, and agencies to pitch Culture Custodian's offerings. Develop and present customized proposals for brand collaborations, sponsorships, content integrations, and co-created campaigns. Create and deliver compelling pitch decks. Manage the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, negotiation, closing, and post-sale account management. Stay informed about brand marketing trends in Nigeria and advise brands on culturally credible strategies. Build long-term relationships with brands seeking genuine access to culturally engaged audiences. Support partnerships that promote African culture and narratives.
Requirements:
3+ years in sales, business development, or media buying (experience in a creative agency, media house, or entertainment brand is a plus). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge corporate and cultural language. Strong understanding of YouTube, social media trends, and leveraging video content for brand growth. Proficiency in presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Canva). Disciplined, organized, and self-driven with a proven ability to hit targets. A genuine interest in and consumption of Nigerian pop culture, media, and entertainment.
