About the role We're looking for a builder who lives at the bleeding edge of AI-assisted development. Claude Code, GPT Codex, Cursor, whatever ships next month. These aren't side tools for you, they're how you operate. You move at a speed that wasn't possible two years ago, and you know it. But you're not just an AI-tool jockey. You have real technical foundations. You've written real code, you've debugged real systems, and you understand what's happening under the hood. You don't need to do the actual debugging anymore (the agents do that), but you know enough to ask the right questions, catch the right mistakes, and steer toward the right solution. That's how you stay fast. Here's the setup: there's a seasoned investor with a deep well of ideas, and a small, sharp team that turns those ideas into shipped products. Early concepts usually start as quick prototypes on vibe-coding platforms to validate the idea before any serious effort goes in. Your seat kicks in from there. Take the validated concept and build the real product. Sometimes that means picking up the prototype and running with it. Sometimes it means looking at it for ten minutes, deciding it's faster to start over with a fresher prompt and a cleaner foundation, and doing exactly that. Knowing which call to make is part of the job, and it's your call. You're not here to decide which ideas are good. That part is handled. You're here to take a validated idea and have 80% of a real product running by Tuesday. You know finishing the last 20% takes longer than the first 80%, and you're okay shipping at 90% to get real feedback from real users instead of polishing in private. Move fast. Break things. Ship. Then build the next one.

Decide when to build on top of an existing prototype and when starting fresh is faster
Run multiple products at the same time and keep them all alive
Operate in AI-native workflows where shell and AI coding agents are the daily setup
Get products in front of real users early and iterate on what comes back
Build solutions that make problems go away permanently, not workarounds you'll be fixing again next month
Keep a lean trail of documentation so the next person (or future you) isn't lost
Who you are A builder. You'd rather have something live and imperfect than perfect and unlaunched.
AI-native. You're already deep in Claude Code, Codex, or whatever's currently winning. You know their failure modes and you know how to get the most out of them.
Technically grounded. You don't debug line-by-line anymore, but you've done it enough that you ask the agent the right questions and recognize when its answer is wrong.
Fast. You can stand up 80% of a product in under a day. You also know that's not the same as done.
A systems thinker, not a button masher. When something breaks, you fix it so it can't break that way again. You don't repeat the same workaround hoping the problem will give up.
Someone who follows new trends within AI and who can stay current.
Good judgment about starting points. You can read an existing prototype and know within minutes whether to build on it or start over with a better foundation.
Willing to push back. If an idea isn't feasible in the timeline, or the approach is wrong, you say so. You don't quietly grind on something doomed.
Infrastructure agnostic. Favorite tools are fine. Religious wars about them aren't. Right tool, right job.
Strong overview. You can hold multiple products in your head at once and know which one needs attention right now.
A clear communicator. You say what you're doing, you flag what you don't know, and you don't go dark.
Comfortable with ambiguity. You're okay not knowing exactly what you'll be working on in a month or two.
Result-driven. You measure yourself by what's running in production, not what's on a slide.
Honest and positive. You're direct with people, you don't sulk, and the energy you bring matters to you.
